Accra, Aug. 18, GNA - The much-debated proposed 20-Club Premier League took a major twist at the Extraordinary Congress of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) on Wednesday following its withdrawal by the proponents.
The proposal, which was coined by the Regional Football Associations, (RFA) had gained an unpopular endorsement amongst the football public, which heightened the interest of the emergency General Assembly.

The decision to organize a Reserve League, which falls under the ambit of the Ghana Football Association's (GFA) vision towards the development of football at the youth level, was unanimously approved during the Extraordinary Congress of the GFA on Wednesday.

Aduana, making their debut in the lucrative pre-season tourney organised by the Ghana League Clubs Association were undone in the 30th minute from a freekick at the Len Clay Stadium.
